DeTorres Manufacturing Solutions, LLC was started in November of 2021 by Founder Giovanni DeTorres. We specialize in automation processes such as machine tending, palletizing, sorting, inspection, and pick and place. Giovanni graduated in December of 2020 from the University of Florida with his degree in Mechanical Engineering. He spent much of his time as a teaching assistant in the school’s Design and Manufacturing Lab, learning about manufacturing processes and passing on that knowledge to students. After college he became an engineer at Everglades Ammunition in Naples, Florida. While there, he worked to improve the efficiency of their manufacturing operations through the use of rapid prototyping, innovative machine fixturing, and high-speed FANUC robotics. Now he is offering consulting services, helping companies to achieve their automation goals.
